DCS Transportation is at Risk!

The Rochester City School District (RCSD) Zone Reconfiguration Task
Force has recommended that RCSD ” Eliminate bussing for all students
enrolled in schools or programs outside of District except Special
Education students attending schools/programs, as per IEPs.”

This recommendation is set to be voted on for approval by January 2022,
negatively impacting 13% of students in Rochester!

Here’s how you can help!
-Write a letter to the RCSD Board of Education and New York State Monitor
-Make a public comment at upcoming RCSD Board of Education Meetings
(Nov. 18th & Dec. 23rd @ 6:30pm)
-Share your concern with members of City Council
-Reach out to the New York State Charter Parent Council

DCS will hold an emergency Town Hall Meeting on
Tuesday, November 9, 2021 @ 6:30pm to discuss this
issue and make a plan to stand up for our scholars!
