Hi, my name is Alison Deacon, and I teach second grade at Discovery Charter School. I have my B.A. in Elementary Education and History from Nazareth College. I am currently working on my Master’s degree in Literacy at Canisius College. Previous to starting at DCS, I worked in a Pre-K classroom for two years.

My hobbies include doing yoga, cooking, and shopping!

A fun fact about me is that my birthday is on April Fool’s Day! I also have a dog, cat, and a lizard as pets!
