Greetings and welcome to the wonderful world of Physical Education!
Currently students in grades Kindergarten and First Grade are working on the skills of throwing and catching. Students learn the correct techniques to throwing and catching and then the skills are used to participate in fun and exciting games where students get to practice their newly learned skills.
Students in grades 2 – 5 are learning the skills necessary to participate in an activity called Pickleball. Pickleball is a game that was created as an indoor sport comparable to tennis. Students in grades 2 & 3 are working on developing skills and students in grades 4 & 5 are working on implementing the skills learned into a game setting.
As always please encourage your son or daughter to wear sneakers for their Physical Education class. And encourage your children to stay active for 60 minutes when they get home from school! Enjoy the holiday season, and stay fit and busy!
