What’s Happening in 3rd Grade?

3rd grade students have been studying about frogs and ecosystems and learning about plant and animal adaptations. The guiding questions of this expedition are “How do frogs survive?” “How do living and non-living things interact with each other to create a sustainable ecosystem?” “How do I become an expert for Trails Day?” and “How can I be the change to support our local ecosystem?” The expedition is divided into three study topics: frogs, ecosystems and hosting a Trails Day event at Durand Eastman Park on Saturday June 6, where we will be cleaning up garbage, taking photos of nature, identifying trees and plants and hiking the trails to celebrate nature and America’s hiking trail systems.
