Evelyn Di Caro, a senior at Gates Chili High School, was one of the recipients on October 27th of the Do The Right Thing Award, a program of the Rochester Police Department.

Evelyn planned and publicized a book drive and collected over 1,500 children’s books for Discovery’s library.

Discovery Charter School trustees Daniel Aureli and Grace Tillinghast were at the ceremony and presented Ms. Di Caro a giant Thank You card from Discovery’s staff and students.
