Our lottery for admission for the 2011-2012 school year will be held on Friday, April 1st, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in the Ed Nietopski Gymnasium at Bishop Kearney High School. Parents of applicants are invited and encouraged to attend.

During the lottery, applicants from the district of location (East Irondequoit) are drawn first, and residents of other school districts are drawn next. Students eligible for the federal free or reduced-price lunch program will have preference in admission. Siblings are given preference, and are enrolled as space allows.

If the number of applicants exceeds the 40 spaces available per grade, children are placed on a waiting list in the order in which their names are drawn.

Parents will be notified of their enrollment status within seven days of the lottery.  Enrollment acceptance is due in the school by April 15, 2011 at 3 p.m.

Parents who attend the lottery may register their children immediately after their names are drawn.
