On December 12, Discovery Charter School, staff, students, school trustees, family and friends honored the late Alberta Moss by unveling a plaque at the school.  Ms. Moss provided inspiration, resolve, energy and grass-roots support to the school founders.

Ms. Moss, originally from North Carolina, moved to the Rochester area as a young child. She had a passion for education and helped many children in her adopted city.
