At its November 20, 2014 meeting, Discovery Charter School’s Board of Trustees unanimously approved the appointment of Lisa M. Lewis as the school’s newest trustee.  Ms. Lewis is a Rochester-area human resources professional with strong program administration, financial and budget management experience.  Currently, she serves as the Vice President of Housing Services for Catholic Family Center.

An accomplished senior leader with a diverse portfolio of program management accomplishments, including managing community initiatives cumulatively valued at $7.2M a year, Ms. Lewis oversees emergency transitional and supportive housing programs, community outreach, re-entry programs and residential drug treatment programs.

Having earned her undergraduate degree in Health Administration from the University of Rochester and Master of Public Administration from State University of New York College at Brockport, Ms. Lewis is involved with the Certified Council of Accreditation, a member of the Agency Advisory Council for Foodlink, a member of the Homeless Service Network/Supportive Housing Network of New York State and Emergency Services & Family Stabilization Network.
